Freight Terms and Conditions

4Kitchens offers the convenient service of delivery to your door Australia wide. Together with our National Transport provider, we kindly ask that you take note of the below conditions of transport. This will help ensure a seamless delivery service from our factory to your door.

Your 4Kitchens products are individually wrapped and labeled, then packed in a hard crate to offer maximum protection during transport. These crates are forklift ready to allow ease of loading and unloading onto the delivery truck. When your order is delivered, you will be required to take possession of the packing crate to dispose of or re-use as you see fit. Our crates are made from recyclable materials and we kindly ask that you think of our environment prior to disposal.

Delivery Lead Times

The overall lead time for your order will depend on the size of the order and where you live. 4Kitchens will advise an approximate delivery date at the time of your order confirmation. Typically, you can expect us to take 3-5 working days to manufacture your products and have them ready for transport, with another 5-10 working days to transport them direct to your door. Not bad for a custom designed and manufactured kitchen!

Though we do our best to meet all estimated delivery times, 4Kitchens shall not be responsible for any loss or damage in respect of a delay in delivery.

A little closer to your delivery day, a representative from our transport company will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. If you do not meet the agreed delivery day and time, the freight will be returned to the nearest depot and it will then be your responsibility to collect from the depot, or arrange another delivery at your expense. Failure to collect from the depot may incur extra handling and storage charges to be paid by you on collection.

Our delivery service is door to door. This means that our transport provider will deliver to your street address. This does not include unloading into your home, garage or driveway. It is your responsibility to remove the goods from the delivery truck. A forklift MAY be available to remove the delivered crates from the back of the truck. This is not guaranteed and as our transport crates are securely screwed together, we highly recommend a battery-operated drill be available at time of delivery to open the crate for manual unloading.

Though we do try and limit the weight of our individual items to under 30kgs, we highly recommend that 2 people be available at the time of delivery to ensure safe handling practices are adhered to. Please note that the delivery driver is under no obligation to assist in the unloading of the truck. Do not rely on the driver as the second person for handling purposes. Excessive waiting times (60 minutes and over) to unload may incur extra charges to be borne by you.

Damages or Claims

Please thoroughly check your order prior to unloading off the truck. Once you sign the delivery dockets, you are accepting that the delivered items are in a satisfactory condition. If you notice any damage on the crates or individual items, please note these on the consignment documents before signing and take photos. Please email us at for any claims on delivered items.

We understand how valuable your new kitchen is and therefore highly recommend you consider purchasing extra transport insurance. 4Kitchens will not be responsible for any goods once they leave our factory premises. This can be done at any time prior to despatch. Please contact us at for information.
